What should I do if I test positive for COVID-19, have been exposed to someone who tested positive, or I am experiencing COVID-like symptoms?

Faculty, staff, and postdocs, who have been onsite within the past two weeks or are expected onsite and are experiencing COVID-like symptoms or have close-contact to someone who tested positive for COVID, must notify Stanford via Health Check. See this page on Health Alerts for more information.
For Stanford faculty, staff, postdocs, and students who test positive for COVID-19:

  1. A positive test result through Color, completed at Stanford University (not SHC/Stanford Medicine), will automatically be integrated into Health Check. Outside test results need the end user to submit the result into Health Check.
  2. A clinician from the Stanford University Occupational Health Center (for faculty, staff, postdocs) or Vaden Health Services (for students) will reach out to the individual who tested positive. If an individual learns of being positive, they can also reach out to OHC or Vaden.
  3. Color will not call an individual who tests positive for COVID-19.
