New website helps campus prepare for gradual return to in-person operations

Categories: Campus, Health & safety, Workplace & HR

Stanford Environmental Health & Safety has developed a new website to support members of the university community as they prepare for the phased and gradual return to in-person operations.

Cardinal Recovery provides information on public health, phases of operational recovery at Stanford, hygiene habits for on-campus work, training and symptom reporting requirements, and guidelines for building managers. It also includes guidance to help members of the Stanford research community navigate the resumption of research activities.

Currently, Stanford is in the first stage of the recovery process, in which only essential workers, authorized researchers and laboratory support personnel, and those with permission to be on campus to prepare for restart activities are on our campuses. All work that can be done from home is continuing to be done remotely.

Resumption of research activities will continue to be the focus of the early phases of Stanford’s return to in-person operations as conditions allow. The Cardinal Recovery website will continue to be updated as new information and guidance becomes available.
