Stanford has developed new online training to help our community safely return to campus during the coronavirus pandemic.
This will require all faculty, staff, postdocs and students employed by the university or conducting research or other academic work on-site to complete an online training course, “COVID-19 Hygiene Best Practices,” before returning to work on campus, starting with those who are currently working onsite at any University-owned location (including off-campus labs).
This 10-minute training course covers critical health and safety information regarding COVID-19 best practices, including but not limited to social distancing, self-care and workspace cleaning.
Please register for the course in the Stanford Training and Registration System (STARS Course Code EHS-2470-WEB) as soon as practicable and notify your supervisor of completion. (Note: Chrome works best with the STARS system.)
Supervisors need to verify completion for all staff.
The Stanford University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Stanford University School of Medicine designates this Enduring Material for a maximum of 0.25 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Employees will be paid for their time to complete the training. Non-exempt (overtime eligible) employees should complete the training during their regularly scheduled work hours. For questions, please contact Heather Perry in EH&S at firstname.lastname@example.org or (650) 723-1308.
