Update on campus masking requirements

Campus protocols on face coverings indoors will remain in place for now. Although California’s statewide indoor mask mandate lifts on Feb. 16, Santa Clara County announced Feb. 9 it will maintain local restrictions until certain conditions are met, likely in a few weeks. The university will continue to align requirements across campuses, meaning that indoor mask requirements will remain in effect at locations including Stanford Redwood City and Hopkins Marine Station.
